One of those wierd things…

So as I was driving from Phoenix to San Diego this morning I saw something very odd on the freeway. There was a white Dodge Caliber being followed at high-speed by a Border Patrol car. Soon after I saw more and more Border Patrol trucks and vehicles speeding in the same direction. I thought, “ok, I guess they saw someone hopping the border, or they were going extremely fast and they were going to hold them for DPS”. Beyond that, I did not think anything else of it, until I arrived in San Diego and checked azcentral.com, on my iPhone, for a news update and I saw the top story: Border Patrol pursuit ends with two dead on Interstate 8. My response was “holy crap! I saw that”. Anyways, it looks as though these guys offed themselves just so they would not go to prison on an assult charge for a carjacking. 

Wow, are they dumb….
