Review: Flip Video Ultra Series

Pure Digital recently released the latest version of their Flip Video cameras, the Ultra Series. These cameras are really quite something for their size and price. They have the capability to shoot either 30 or 60 minutes depending on which version you get. While the quality will not give your high-end Sony HD cameras a run for their money, they do provide quality that is superior to your cell phone video camera.

The real standout feature on these is the software, which comes preloaded on the camera itself. You do not need to install the software on your computer itself, it all runs over USB directly from the camera. The software allows you to easily upload video to YouTube, save to your hard drive, or prepare it to be burned to DVD. The software is compatible with Mac or PC.
